Yes, and the best part is there are lots of other business owners in here who are on your wavelength. So that’s cool that we’re all motivated and happy to be in here, because that helps us all get better work done. 

“WE’RE ALL WORKING TOGETHER ON... WHAT?”

Well, what would you like to work on? Shout it out. We may be working on it already. Or we may jump in and mastermind it and help you out. Who does that? We do!

Okay, you asked for it, so we’re going to spill it out in a big section. But don’t worry, you can ask more down below (like the cost and stuff, because why wouldn’t you ask that!)

Helllooo! I’m Chris Brogan! And hi! I’m Rob Hatch!

Rob and Chris are the structure behind Owner Media, and our Owner Insiders are the driving force, the lifeblood.

You plus Us is a collaboration. 

That works really well because we’re not telly-tell lecture-y people who create a curriculum and never want to hear sass from the audience. No, that’s not how we do our best, and we know it’s not how our Insiders do their best. 

For one thing, Rob and I (okay, this is Chris talking for a moment here) have our own consulting work. We’re not sitting in the little room next to the principal’s office keeping office hours. We are listening, for sure, and we are always searching for the best info that will help our community. But the members, you, are a huge part of what this community looks like and how it operates. 

“BUT TIME? WHAT ABOUT THE TIME? WHO HAS TIME TO BELONG TO SOMETHING THAT WILL LIFT ALL BOATS? I BARELY HAVE TIME TO SHOWER. OKAY, WELL I’M NOT EVEN SHOWERING THESE DAYS.”

We get it! Time is a crazy issue right now. We want to support that in every way so we make sure all our offerings can be accessed in real time or whenever you can get to it. 

However. 

Have you ever belonged to a team or a group where you literally could not wait to get together with your people and hang out? Maybe like a gamer community online? Or a cafe where the vibe is just right? When you have a place like that, suddenly you find all this time and energy you didn’t know you had. 

We’d like to be that place for you.

“THAT DOES SOUND GOOD. GETTING BACK TO THE QUESTION UP ABOVE, WHAT ARE WE WORKING ON AGAIN?”

We’re working on getting better at being business owners so we don’t have to suffer, struggle, reinvent the wheel, feel like we’re somehow “less than” other business owners. 

We want to help you access your owner superpowers -- and then amp them up. We want us all to work together to try things out in an atmosphere of trust and belonging, so you don’t have to be embarrassed or shy to push your limits. 

So that’s the big picture stuff. 

Nuts and bolts-wise, there are common areas where small business owners say they’d like to get better. They (you!) want to:

• Make quicker and more confident decisions about their business.
• Be able to vet choices for technology, media and emerging stuff. 
• Be better at getting new customers.
• Be more visible and authoritative in the marketplace, whether that’s online or in person.

Us, too. We all have to work at it. Why not do it in a place with people you enjoy?

Luckily, we’ve built a community of people who want to work on this kind of stuff together. Led by Rob and Chris, we’re all about checking things out, sticking our toe in the cold water for you, and then giving you a chance to try it out in a supportive environment. Sound good so far?

If it does sound good, it means you’re special. We’re not blowing smoke! Honestly, there aren’t that many business owners in the world, total, who get what we’re talking about. They’re not us. They don’t think it’s fun to test an idea and, if it works, get out ahead of the pack. They don’t think it’s comfortable to shift the business 12 degrees for a while and then either return to true north or feel good about turning east. See, we’re different. You’re different.

If you’ve read this far, you haven’t gotten what you needed from other communities. Or you’ve gotten a taste of what could be, but not encircled in that warm feeling of “these are my peeps.”

Okay, here’s the other part where we are different -- and maybe you are, too. 

I literally will wake up at 2 a.m. with an idea and be on fire to get to work on it. I want to be able to open a tab in the group and ask, “Has anybody ever…” or “Does anybody know...” from people who do know, did try it, and will give helpful feedback.
